It Was a Very Good Year

Thanks to a wonderful group of boys and girls for a year I will never forget. I have enjoyed the opportunity of teaching such receptive children. They are amazing! They are fun! They have grown up so much in the past 180 days! I wish each one much happiness and success.
Love, Mrs. Mac
P.S. Don't forget to pick up your DVDs in the school office when you're in the neighborhood.
P.P.S. Have and safe and happy summer, and I'll see you next year.

Field Day

Wow! The weather cooperated and we had a great field day. Some of us even got a little bit of a sunburn! Needless to say, we were all glad to see the sun again and enjoy a day without jackets.

Term 4 Talent Show

The final talent show was full of music, tricks, action - and much, much more! No shy kids here!!

One More Thing......

We do have one little accident to report - a broken leg. Thank goodness it happened at home and not at school. Anyway, she's doing better every day and will soon be able to have a walking cast.

Mother's Day Boutique

We completed our economics unit with a very successful boutique. There we more treasures there than you could imagine - all the creation of our little entrepreneurs :)

Celebration of the Arts

Once again, our class proved how talented they were with all their entries in the Celebration of the Arts! Way to go!

Movin' Into March

Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss, and guess what simple machine won the whip cream race?

Finishing February

We sure packed in a lot of stuff--considering it was such a short month.  Remember the day we wore silly and crazy hats, made snowball pie, celebrated Valentine's Day, enjoyed Boots 'n Bunker, saw Simon, etc.

Smile?!?!

No, these are not characters from some Dr. Seuss book! They are just characters from Room 217! HA

What's Cookin'? 2011

To start the year out right, we made jello popcorn for Above & Beyond. Super sticky, chewy and probably very healthy. :) Many hands made for "light work"!

So Long to 2010

Our final salute to 2010 was our school Christmas Concert on December 22nd. Here we are decked out in "The Shirts".
